Responsibilities:
- Validate information entered by indexers.
- Accurately select and verify pre-authorizations.
- Identify and take action on duplicate claims.
- Review and process alerts related to members and providers.
- Refer cases to the calling team for additional information.
- Handle policy and non-policy messages.
- Analyze and investigate policy messages using tools like Support Point and Info Site.
- Escalate cases to relevant departments (HCS, TMT, Triage) as needed.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities by detecting overcharges, ineligible claims, contract compliance issues, and potential fraud.
Preferred Skills :
- Basic knowledge of healthcare and medical terminologies.
- Strong attention to detail and investigative skills.
- Good interpretation and comprehension abilities.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
