As a Software Developer at IBM Consulting, you will be responsible for:
1️⃣ Software Development & Implementation
✔️ Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
✔️ Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications.
✔️ Implement best coding practices to ensure maintainability and performance.
2️⃣ Problem Solving & Technical Enhancements
✔️ Analyze, validate, and troubleshoot technical issues with the support of architects and technical leads.
✔️ Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
✔️ Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
3️⃣ Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
✔️ Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, and project managers.
✔️ Participate in key discussions with stakeholders to understand project requirements.
✔️ Ensure smooth communication between teams and deliver quality solutions on time.
4️⃣ Learning & Innovation
✔️ Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
✔️ Work with Cloud, AI, and emerging technologies to enhance IBM solutions.
✔️ Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor junior developers when required.
5️⃣ Testing & Debugging
✔️ Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
✔️ Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality.
✔️ Debug and fix software issues in production and pre-production environments.
6️⃣ Documentation & Reporting
✔️ Maintain detailed technical documentation for development and troubleshooting.
✔️ Prepare reports on project progress, system performance, and potential improvements.
✔️ Ensure proper version control and code repository management (e.g., Git).
