This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting internal Tesla tools that optimize and automate the process of designing, permitting, and installing energy products. The position requires strong React, JavaScript, and frontend development skills, along with expertise in REST APIs, SQL databases, and scalable web technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop & maintain applications within Tesla’s energy and vehicle product ecosystem.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for new features and bug fixes.
• Develop unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA for regression testing.
• Monitor system metrics, troubleshoot production issues, and improve application performance.
• Work with Product, Design, and Business teams to plan and prioritize feature development.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and availability of applications.
• Document new technologies and application functionality for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Frontend Development :

Strong JavaScript / ES6, HTML, CSS skills.

Proficiency in React and core design principles.

Web Technologies :

Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, AJAX, JSON.

Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (a big plus).

Database & Tools :

Strong grasp of SQL database principles.

Experience with frontend development tools (Vite, NPM, Yarn, etc.).
