Key Responsibilities
- Understand business and technical requirements and raise necessary clarifications.
- Develop, test, debug, and deploy code aligned with specifications and deadlines.
- Participate in Agile sprints and understand SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Create documentation, including low-level design documents and test scenarios.
- Troubleshoot and identify areas of improvement proactively.
- Take ownership of your tasks and collaborate in team meetings and project planning.
- Continuously upskill and cross-skill in new technologies to stay industry-relevant.
- Deliver scalable and efficient code in a timely manner.
Skills Required:
- Programming skills in at least one language (Java, Python, C++, etc.)
- Understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and DevOps
- Familiarity with database concepts and SDLC
- Logical and analytical problem-solving skills
- Effective communication (verbal & written)
- Team player with a proactive mindset
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation Year: 2025 batch only
- Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech (All streams except Leather/Food/Fashion Tech and similar non-IT branches)
- Minimum 60% or above in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG
- No standing arrears at the time of joining
- Must be an Indian National or OCI currently residing in India
- Flexible to work from any Cognizant office location and shift timing
