Cognizant is hiring fresh graduates for a Technical Support role that offers a great entry point into the IT industry. As an associate, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting client issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems, and delivering high-quality support services. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide first-level technical support to end users via calls, chats, or emails.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Log and track all support requests in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to escalate complex issues.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles for repeated issues.
  • Ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction through professional service.
  • Communicate effectively with global clients across different cultures and time zones.
  • Work from office in rotational shifts (night shift allowance applicable).

Skills Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage irate clients professionally.
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the IT support domain.
  • Ability to work in night shifts and from office (as per business requirement).
  • Client-focused mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile.
