Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and strategies in partnership with Tech & Ops
  • Design and execute UAT and regression test cases
  • Automate manual test cases and expand the regression test suite
  • Lead defect management processes and contribute to regular status calls
  • Build strong working relationships with project sponsors, tech teams, and operations stakeholders
  • Understand business processes and influence testing strategy based on firm-wide operational goals
  • Execute test cases for regulatory reporting requirements (MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, etc.)
  • Collaborate in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment with high expectations on delivery

Core Skills:

  • 1+ year of hands-on experience in test automation
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Selenium, FitNesse, Cucumber, or equivalent tools
  • SOAP/REST APIs
  • Test automation frameworks (data-driven, hybrid, etc.)

Good understanding of:

  • Test methodologies & life cycles
  • Defect tracking and analysis
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Knowledge of financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives – OTC & Exchange Traded)
  • Prior exposure to regulatory reporting projects (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC)
  • Proficiency in Java or Python
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GIT/SVN, Unix, and databases
  • Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
  • Working knowledge of version control and scripting for automated testing pipelines
  • Optimization techniques
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java, or C++
  • Awareness of cutting-edge ML trends and tools
  • Strong mathematical and analytical thinking
  • Business acumen to connect data solutions with real-world outcomes
